Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project Area is a seven and a half mile corridor beginning in Maryland and connecting to Virginia by a bridge over the Potomac River. The Project consists of the replacement of the existing Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the upgrading of four interchanges to ease traffic congestion within the Project Area. The 495/Telegraph Road intersection is at the far West end of the project corridor; this intersection effects traffic around Jefferson Manor.

Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project: Telegraph Road Public Information Workshop, 04/19/2006 (Wednesday) from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

The workshop will be held at Cameron Elementary School (3434 Campbell Drive, Alexandria, VA 22303; 703-329-2100) and is arranged by the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project. Learn about design updates for the reconstructed Telegraph Road Interchange since the June 2005 meeting. See traffic modeling results for the grade-separated design for Telegraph Road intersections at Huntington Avenue and North Kings Highway. See the current designs for business and pedestrian access on Eisenhower Avenue. Hear about current and long-term construction activities at or near the Telegraph Road Interchange. Provide your much-valued input. For special assistance or for more information, contact the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project Office at 703-329-0300 or visit their website: www.wilsonbridge.com
