February 28^th (Wednesday): T-shirt Contest Entries Due
Put your mark on Jefferson Manor and design our t-shirt. Come up with a nifty black & white design for our neighborhood shirts. Bring your design to the January general meeting (Tuesday, January 16^th at 7 PM at Mount Eagle Elementary School) or drop off your design with Dawn Wyse (703-765-1767) by February 28^th. Some notes: Make it “Jefferson Manor” neighborhood specific, without a date and in black & white. The final printing will be no larger than an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper. Entries from all ages accepted and encouraged.

March 3^rd (Saturday) from 5-9 PM: Game Night
Join your neighbors at Janet's Java for JMCA Game Night this Saturday from 5 to 9 PM. Bring your favorite games and play them with your neighbors!
March 11 (Sunday) at 6 PM: 60^th Anniversary Committee
Planning for our 60^th Anniversary is under way! A committee has beenformed and many ideas are being created by newneighbors and neighbors that were here during the50th Anniversary. Please email camay29@hotmail.com or catherinewestover@hotmail.com to attend this meeting. We will be discussing location, food, activities and community solicitations.

Jefferson Manor Neighborhood Watch and JMCA are sponsoring a free hot dog grill-out—details TBD. National Night Out is an annual occasion for neighbors to get together, strengthen neighborhood spirit and build police-community relationships. This is a great chance to meet your neighbors. Come, enjoy free food and conversation, and learn how participation in Neighborhood Watch can make Jefferson Manor even better.
August 12^th (Sunday) from 4:00PM to 5:00PM: The History of Jefferson Manor
Original Jefferson Manor residents and members of Calvary Presbyterian Church will share their stories about how the neighborhood and church have changed over the last 60 years. Light refreshments served.

September 12 (Wednesday): Fairfax County and Tessa Construction Meeting
This is a meeting with Fairfax County officials and Tessa Construction, the wining bidder on the Fort Dr. contract. The meeting has been arranged by Fairfax County officials, it is open to all Jefferson Manor residents, and it will take place at the Mt. Eagle Elementary School at 7:30pm.
