Privacy Policy Statement

This is the privacy policy of Jefferson Manor Citizens Association (JMCA) with regards to personal information collected and stored about our membership.

JMCA collects the names and addresses of its membership as part of the requirement of membership. Names and addresses of JMCA members are not sold nor given to any other organization or company; this information is collected only to facilitate communication between JMCA members, the JMCA Board, and it's committees and to ensure that membership stay within the community boundaries. Membership is open to all Jefferson Manor residents as well as non-resident owners.

The JMCA requests that members voluntarily provide phone number and e-mail addresses. E-mail addresses may also be collected from persons who post messages to the JMCA Yahoo! Group (JeffersonManor), as well as persons who communicate with the JMCA via e-mail. E-mail addresses may be used by JMCA to communicate community-planned events, as well as important notices which have local impact. E-mail addresses and phone numbers of JMCA members are not sold nor given to any other organization or company.

All contact information (name, address, phone number or email) will not be used for any purpose other than official JMCA business without the express written consent of the individual JMCA member.

If you do not wish to receive e-mail from the JMCA in the future, please let JMCA know by sending e-mail to the above address or writing to the JMCA at the above mailing address.

Persons who sign up for specific committees will be contacted by the committee chair or board members representing those committees. You may opt-out of a committee at any time by notifying the committee chair.

Members may cancel their JMCA membership at any time by writing to JMCA at the above address, or by not renewing their membership in January. Refunds on the membership fee are not given. Upon request JMCA will provide members with access to their own contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number, e-mail address) for verification and validation purposes.

Members will only be given their own contact information, not those of other members. Members may request this information by writing to JMCA at the above address.

JMCA offers members the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information. Members can have this information corrected by writing to JMCA at the above address.

JMCA officers, board members and general membership are required to follow the terms of this privacy policy. If you feel this policy has been violated, you may contact the JMCA at the above mailing address or e-mail address.
