JMCA Membership
Membership in the Jefferson Manor Citizens Association is voluntary and is open to residents and non-resident owners of property in the Jefferson Manor neighborhood. Membership dues are $20 annually (payable to "JMCA"), and can be paid at general membership meetings or by mail to the following address:
JMCA
P.O. Box 4104
Alexandria, VA 22303
Benefits of membership include the ability to vote on JMCA leadership at the March general meeting and on specific items of neighborhood business that arise, as outlined in the bylaws. In addition, JMCA members gain access to restricted areas of this website. The first 50 members to renew/join in 2006 receive a refrigerator magnet with emergency contact numbers useful to Jefferson Manor residents. Members also have the knowledge that their dues help support the activities of JMCA, and help JMCA cover costs such as production of the neighborhood newsletter.
Membership is based on the calendar year (January-December) rather than on a revolving basis—a new member paying dues in July of a given year must again pay dues in January of the following year in order to vote for JMCA officers at the March meeting.
Any additional questions about JMCA membership may be directed to info@jeffersonmanor.org.
